Northgate Newark

Refurbishment and completion of 12 apartments that were left unfinished when another contractor went into liquidation. Works consist of the completion of all partitioning, plastering, joinery, M&E, decorations, tiling and flooring within the flats and communal areas.

Externally resolve above and below ground issues, install new low-level walling with associated foundations and railings with access gates, ramps to the rear access as well as brickwork cleaning, sealing and tarmacking to the courtyard. We also organised new supplies with services including water, electric and BT as these hadn't been resolved previously. 

This development was completed in the middle of Newark along Northgate which is extremely busy with traffic and pedestrians, so good traffic and time management skills were needed to deliver the scheme. 

The scheme has been completed for our client Newark and Sherwood District Council and was one of the last remaining sites part finished by the previous contractor of a phase 4 development programme. 

Now completed this will provide much-needed housing stock for NSDC and the local community and continue NSDC's commitment to their new build homes programme.
