Belvin Construction Limited are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join the expanding team, responsible for the overseeing of the day-to-day running of construction sites within 1 hours travel of the office at Nettleham. We have a range of clients in different sectors creating projects in commercial, housing, private residential, industrial and also the niche grand design type houses.
Responsibilities to include:
- Manage the high standards of quality on site and ensure delivery of a quality build in accordance with the project specifications and project requirements.
- Understand the client’s requirements and always conduct themselves in a professional manger, whilst also being able to cultivate relationships with client’s and their representatives.
- To ensure full compliance with all Health & safety aspects. Fully understand the company’s H&S policy/strategy.
- Co-ordinate works from subcontractors on site – ensuring programme adherence and quality is maintained to the high standards expected by our clients.
- Report directly to the Contracts Manager on programme, quality and Health & Safety.
- Undertake the works is the most economical manner to eliminate waste and avoid non recoverable costs and losses. Monitor and work to agreed budgets.
- Contributing to work planning and briefing project teams, contractors and suppliers to include planning and programming daily site activities and labour.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Maintain continuous development to ensure appropriate technical awareness on the build environment.
- Management of site housekeeping, discipline, behaviour and welfare facilities.
- Support the CM Team for the closure of defects during the defects period and assist in obtained the certificate of Making Good Defects within targets set.
Essential
- Experience in delivery of projects in a similar role.
- Current SMSTS/3 day First Aid certificate.
- Valid Driving Licence.
- Ability to accurately interpret programmes, drawings and technical specifications.
- Ability to manage and communicate with the team in a clear and constructive manner to include subcontractors and clients.
- Experienced in the use of IT programmes such as Excel/Work/Outlook and Projects.
We are looking for someone in a full-time capacity (Mon – Fri) on a permanent basis and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Belvin Construction Ltd are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in Lincoln. Mainly office based, your role as Quantity Surveyor will be to deal with a diverse range of clients both private and public sector. You will be a person who enjoys working on several different diverse projects including Bespoke/Niche one-off builds, Housing Developments, Social housing Developments, Commercial, Industrial and Factory/Office Builds.
You will be delivering a range of interesting and diverse projects from £300K up to £12 Million value and reporting regularly to the MD. We would consider someone newly qualified as we have a supportive QS team available to help grow any experience and knowledge needed.
Key responsibilities QS:
- Production and management of accurate estimates, including subcontract enquiries, cost monitoring and preparation of valuations and final accounts
- Experience with take offs and a thorough understanding of the building process and required construction materials
- Management of sub-contractors procurement, payments and measures.
- Preparing Cash Flow Forecasts and Valuations
- Working closely with clients, commercial and contract delivery teams
- Reporting to Senior Management on CVR monthly and any CFF requested.
Key QS specification:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- RICS accredited or equivalent is desirable
- Methodical style of working
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Good team working ethic
- Full driving licence

Belvin Construction Ltd are looking for an experienced Joiner to join the expanding team.
The role will require experience and knowledge in roofing, joists, 1st, 2nd and 3rd fix joinery to include kitchen fitting. The successful candidate must be able to work within a team environment, have good communication skills and have an awareness of Health & Safety. You must hold a full UK driving licence.
