Main Street Scothern

New build dwelling located on a parcel of land adjacent to the local church that was owned by the family of the clients. Belvin had not worked with RDA architects before but found them supportive and proactive during the contract. The contract was direct with the client due to the contract we worked under to deliver this fantastic property. This shows flexibility within Belvin to work outside of Contract Administrators and deliver a scheme direct with the client.
The client had an existing house that they sold within the same village to relocate to this new build which was smaller than their previous home however as it was now just the two of them it worked for their required needs aswell as being closer to family. The works consisted of site strip, foundations, below ground brick and block and above ground block and stone, Roofing, Joinery, Timber windows & doors, paths and associated parking, new services, M&E, Joinery, plastering, decorations, flooring, and cleaning.
This development was completed on the Main Street in Scothern with limited space for parking therefore to retain relationships with existing residents we had strong communication with local residents at various times during the build process.
The build also has an energy Performance Certificate rating of A, with Air-Source heating, and highly insulated walls and ceilings to provide greater thermal efficiency throughout the building.
