Due to the location of The Duke of Wellington pub we had to approach this with timed deliveries in and out as the volume of traffic never reduces throughout the day. We implemented a system with our suppliers that was actioned on-site to minimise disruption on the roads.

The existing building had been left for ten years and was in an extremely poor state, so the brief from our client was to strip out completely and start again. This enabled us to uncover the existing issues with the external walls, roofing, trusses and brickwork which needed repair prior to installing the new finishes that our client requested.

The main features are the refurbished bar that is now used as the reception counter and the shoreditch glazed screens to the meeting and accounts room. The floors have been reconditioned as well as the brick slips to the meeting room, and the toilets which have been kept in the theme of a public house.

“Belvin did a great job, moving at our demanding pace and delivering everything we needed. We loved our office then, and still love it now, and it’s often commented on as the coolest office in Lincoln!”
