Administrative Assistant

Belvin Construction is seeking the right candidate to join their expanding team.  The role is great for someone who is looking to expand on their experience and would wish to employ someone who can take on more responsibilities as the company grows with scope for progression within the business. The position is to provide administrative support to the team and would be responsible for:

  • Administering generic email accounts daily, prioritise and action items according to timescales.

  • Operate the sub-contractor management systems to include obtaining competence certificates and insurance details for each project.

  • Deal with telephone calls/customer enquiries, ensuring relevant information is cascaded.
    Processing and inputting of invoices.

  • Assisting the Directors with any administrative tasks to include Accounts assistance.

  • Co-ordinating the services for each project – liaising with the utility companies and arranging for them to attend site to undertake required work, will need good and effective communication skills.

  • Sending tender packs out to sub-contractors and chasing for prices on behalf of the project managers.

  • Support the Project Managers with chasing up any enquiries to assist them in delivering tenders

Skills

  • Excellent IT skills including working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Outlook

  • Excellent communication skills, good attention to detail, accuracy and quality

  • Organised and methodical approach to work

  • Happy to help team/adapt where necessary

  • Knowledge of Accounts (Xero) is advantageous. 

Salary

Negotiable depending on experience.

Office Hours – 8:00 – 5:00 Monday – Thurs 8:00 – 4:00 Friday (flexible working considered on request)


Site Manager

Belvin Construction LTD are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join the expanding team. 

Responsibilities to include:

  • Safe daily running of the site

  • Supervising works and subcontractors

  • Delivery of a quality product on time and budget

  • Quality assurance

  • Contributing to work planning and briefing project teams, contractors and suppliers

  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs

  • SMSTS (desirable – if not available training will be provided)

The successful candidate must be able to work within a team environment, have good communication skills and have an awareness of Health & Safety.  You must hold a full UK driving licence.

Belvin Construction Limited are looking for someone in a full-time capacity (Mon – Fri) on a permanent basis and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
