Abbey House Grimsby

Part demolition of the existing property and full refurbishment of ground, first and second floors. Alterations to another external adjoining part of the property to create a better layout for residents and staff. Works consist of demolition, groundwork, brick and blockwork, joinery, Roofing, M&E, plastering, decs, tiling, flooring, external patio and planter works. The finish is to a high standard and will make a difference to the residents of this disability accommodation now and beyond.
This development has been completed in the middle of Grimsby, which has limited parking for construction activities, therefore having just in time deliveries and timely programming to reduce contractor’s vehicles was essential to this build. We not only created flats we created office spaces and break-out areas for residents and staff.
The scheme has been completed for our long-standing client Linkage and is consistent in the design with other high profile builds we have completed for them.
The scheme will provide much needed accommodation to residents attached to the charity and will benefit housing needs in the community now and in the future.
